Smart city. Dua suku kata yang makin sering terdengar, bukan? Ya, sejumlah kota atau daerah telah ‘memproklamirkan’ wilayahnya sebagai kota pintar atau smart city. 3. SOSIALISASI

Sosialisasi menjadi salah satu tantangan tersendiri bagi penerapan smart city. Hal ini karena sosialisasi membutuhkan waktu serta adaptasi sosial yang tidak sebentar. Misalnya, dengan memperkenalkan beragam teknologi yang akan diterapkan, tentunya akan mencakup upaya mempersempit ketimpangan digital dan mengubah kebiasaan masyarakat di daerah tersebut.

4. KEAMANAN

Meski membutuhkan informasi yang cepat, tepat, dan akurat, masyarakat juga tetap membutuhkan keamanan dalam mengakses informasi. Jadi, keamanan masih merupakan persoalan di jaringan sistem manapun. Terlebih jika sistem tersebut mencakup skala luas atau seluruh kota, seperti smart city, ancaman keamanan perlu ditangani serius.

Ketika sebuah sistem terhubung, penangangannya juga akan semakin kompleks. Kompleksnya keamanan tersebutjuga bisa dilihat dari beberapa bagian infrastruktur smart city yang sangat mungkin ditangani oleh penyedia jasa dan barang berbeda.

Begitu banyaknya perangkat yang terhubung ke jaringan atau sistem smart city juga merupakan tantangan tersendiri, misalnya ketika kunci rumah kita terintegrasi dengan perangkat teknologi dan internet. Salah satu indikator penting dalam mewujudkan dan faktor sukses Smart City adalah sumber daya manusia. Warga yang aktif melaporkan masalah lingkungan, misalnya, adalah salah satu contohnya. 2. KOMITMEN PEMERINTAH
